Description

Regina Multicultural Council has an opening for a highly organized individual to serve as Administrative Assistant.  Reporting to the Executive Director and Board of Directors the Administrative Assistant will provide office administrative duties and reception duties for the Regina Multicultural Council Office; this includes processing all incoming and outgoing correspondence, accounts payable, receivable and being a first point of contact to the public and membership.

The successful candidate will be sensitive to the multicultural community and the impact of cultures on interactions.  The administrative assistant will contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the organization while lending support to the work of management, other staff and the Board of Directors.  

Regina Multicultural Council is a non-profit organization comprised of over 50 different cultural member organizations within the City of Regina.  RMCs mandate is to educate the public about different cultures and foster positive relations between communities through increasing public knowledge and appreciate of different ethnic groups art, culture, language and traditions.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in the use of computer programs including; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and database management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organized, efficient and competent in the area of office administration
Efficient in all general office administration skills
