THIS POSITION IS SEASONAL FULL TIME RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Operating, inspecting and maintaining grain farm machinery (tractor, drill, sprayer, swather, combine, grain truck etc) during seeding, growing and harvest seasons.
Monitoring inventory of shop tools, supplies and parts on hand; coordinating oil changes, preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
Co-management and execution of grain movement logistics with GM; maintaining accurate records of inventory levels
With guidance from the GM; you will plan and delegate tasks to employees.
AS A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE YOU WILL HAVE:
The ability to confidently and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Minimum two full seasons of experience independently operating and maintaining large agricultural equipment
Proficiency with technology, calculating, record keeping and computer operating systems
Considered an asset but not required: 1A license, agronomy knowledge and/or Journeyperson designation - heavy duty or agricultural mechanic
The ability to work extended hours; including early mornings, evenings and weekends during busy seasons
THIS FARM OFFERS A COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON APPLICABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WITH PERFORMANCE BASED PAY. (25,000 to +35,000 and incentives)
