Rosetown & District Chamber of Commerce is
recruiting for the of
Administrative Assistant. The Administrative
Assistant is responsible for assisting the Chamber
on approved programs and services on a day-to-day
basis. The Administrative Assistant plays a
significant role in coordinating the planning of
events and activities and assisting the directors
as needed.
The successful applicant must be outgoing,
energetic and self-motivated with excellent
interpersonal skills. Duties will include but not
limited to:
-Promotion of new memberships
-Developing member relations
-Performing administrative tasks
-Performing bookkeeping duties
-Coordinating and overseeing to completion,
program activities and events that have been
approved by the Chamber's Board of Directors
-Coordinating and utilizing communication programs
designed to keep the membership and the public
informed of Chamber activities
-General promotion of Chamber
Regular office hours will be established but
occasional evening and weekend work will be
necessary. Bookkeeping skills are an asset.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word
and Excel. Previous administrative experience will
be considered an asset.
This position will be approximately 24 hours per week.
