The R.M. of Silverwood No. 123 is located in SE Saskatchewan just south of Whitewood, SK and is now accepting applications for a full time heavy equipment operator to commence work starting around September 1st, 2015.
Eligible applicants should have knowledge of road maintenance and construction, equipment operation, and have a basic mechanical aptitude. Additional duties may include culvert installation, equipment repairs, signage and shop work as well as others. The holding of a Class 1A license would be an asset and preference will be given to someone with strong leadership and supervisory skills. There is the possibility of job promotion in the next couple years for the right candidate.
Salary will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications. The R.M. offers an excellent health and dental plan as well as a pension plan.
