Education
Successful completion of a one year diploma or certificate in electronics from a recognized institution.
Combination of relevant education, training and/or experience may be considered.

Experience
Experience in a casino slot department would be preferred including working with slot operations and diagnostics. Experience using mechanical and electronic tools as well as other delicate tools such as calipers, dial gauges, tap and dye sets.

Knowledge
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of the gaming, hospitality, customer service (or related) industry.
Knowledge of slot operations and diagnostics.
Basic knowledge of ATM operations and preventative maintenance.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
Ability to support change with optimism and openness.
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, in both written and verbal form.
Ability to consistently provide friendly, timely, and accurate client service.
Ability to work independently, be reliable, and take personal responsibility for tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating respect and consideration for others.

Condition of Employment
Must consent to a background check in order to qualify as a gaming employee
Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)
Must be 19 years of age or older


Other Information
Irregular hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
Could be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, dust and sharp objects
Congested workplace
Electricity
Walking/Standing (2hrs at a time)
Lifting (up to 50 lbs, with assistance)
Moving (up to 150 lbs, such as slot machines, LCD)
