Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Rate of pay: $37.19 per hour
January 1, 2016: $38.96
Job Description:
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment
- Inspect & repair to on/off road equipment as assigned
- Service equipment as per Purolator's Preventative Maintenance Program
- Perform equipment service calls as required
- Communicate concerns to Team Leader or Fleet Manager
- Maintain Quality program
- Perform work on L/D equipment will also be required
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic license
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver License
- Prior experience with computerized maintenance systems & procedures
- Ability to diagnose & repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
- Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
- Must have own tools
- Must possess or be willing to obtain Saskatchewan Vehicle Safety Inspection license
