Assistant to the Director of Programs Job Description
Hours of Work:
Alternates between Week 1 & Week 2
Week 1
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 2-5:30PM and 6:00-9:00PM
Friday 10:30-5:30PM
Week 2
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2-5:30PM and 6:00-9:00PM
Wednesday 10:30- 5:30PM

Assistant to the Director of Programs duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) helping the Director of Programs with:
    Ensure that the Battlefords Boys & Girls Club provides a safe and caring environment that promotes positive child and youth development, relationships and mentoring opportunities for children and youth.
    Supervision, mentoring, training and development of program staff in order to maintain delivery of quality programs for children and youth and achieve expected program outcomes.
    Supervision of youth.
    Assist the Director of Programs with the following;
o    Conduct weekly meetings with the Executive Director, where discussion will focus on programming issues such as weekly program and activity plans, program summaries and evaluations, staff concerns, volunteer issues, equipment and supplies, statistical data and memberships, fundraising and event opportunities, marketing and promotional materials, etc.
o    To ensure that all program activities are appropriately supervised at all times and that all youth to staff/volunteer ratios are met.
o    Ensure that the building daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are regularly completed and any building maintenance is noted and addressed promptly.
o    Equipment will be regularly maintained, cleaning products are stocked, first aid equipment is ready to use, etc.
o    Statistical information is completed and well organized daily, including programming numbers and current membership information.
