TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  Full Time, Term:  September 8, 2015  July 11, 2016

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the SSC Manager, the Supervisor will oversee the Food Services portfolio of the building, as well assist with coordination of the safety requirements within the facility.  This position involves rotational shift work, including early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.

Duties will include:
- Ensure customers experience a safe and enjoyable recreational environment by providing supervision of the facility, through the monitoring of staff, facility checklists, customer feedback, and facility inspections
- Supervise the facility and staff on day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Oversee the concession and catering, including ordering food and equipment, developing the menu, improving customer service, and increasing catering options
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate concession and catering staff
- Participate in the safety management system, including facility checks, workplace orientations, incident investigations, and safety meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A minimum 2 years of progressive experience, working in a retail setting or public facility
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is considered an asset
- Must possess or be willing to obtain Safe Food Handling certification
- Must possess or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR C certification
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis
- Must be able to provide and maintain a clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
