Southern Industrial & Truck is looking for a highly motivated Heavy Duty Oilfield Service Technician to join our team.
The individual must be able to troubleshoot, repair and inspect all types of heavy equipment such as Drilling & Service Rig equipment, gensets as well be capable of Truck & Trailer repairs if needed. You must be able to determine the extent of repair as well as adjust repair and or replace defective parts; then test repaired equipment for proper performance. The majority of the work will be field service work.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and complete repairs on all assigned equipment.
- Order parts required to complete repairs.
- Work with other Oilfield Personnel.
- Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner.
- Use computer to input all time sheets, materials, equipment. information for purchase orders.
- Perform work mainly in oil field and sometimes in shop.
- Act in a professional manner in order to project a positive company image.
- Assist with others from time to time as required.
- Must have First Aid, CPR & H2S
