Job Description:
The Vice-President, Human Resources is responsible for the planning, organizing, management and direction of Labour Relations, Employment Services, Employee Health and Support Services, Recruitment and Retention and Payroll, Benefits and Scheduling for Sun Country Health Region and its Affiliates (SCHR). Responsibilities will be consistent with the vision, mission and goals of SCHR.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration
Major in Human Resources
Experience
Minimum of 10 years Human Resource management experience, with increasing levels of responsibility. Extensive hands-on experience with Labour Relations issues and arbitration boards. Experience with applicable labour and occupational health & safety legislation. Experience in a health related field an asset. Graduation from a recognized MHA or MBA program is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Valid drivers license
Demonstrated excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
A conceptual, strategic thinker with knowledge, skill and ability to apply concepts and strategies to practice
Demonstrated ability in project management and ability to work and communicated effectively with multiple levels of the organization and in teams.
Excellent public relations skills
Demonstrates ability to manage a diverse group of employees.
Other Information

Travel within the province of Saskatchewan is required
Access to a reliable vehicle as travel is required
