Description

Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Completions Database Coordinator at our Legacy project site near Bethune, SK. The successful candidate will liaise with the construction management team, home office engineering support, client, and contractors in order to successfully support the commissioning stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities
Providing database support to the Completions and Commissioning team
Managing change as field revisions are submitted
Managing As built drawings coming from the Construction, Commissioning and Handover groups
Processing large amounts of data and manage changes/updates
Managing the database to track commissioning work package status on a continuous progressive basis.
Making necessary programming changes to suit the requirements of the Completions and Commissioning team
Maintaining database integrity
Other duties as assigned

Role Requirements
Extensive experience working with databases, and programming applications developed in Access
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Filemaker Pro database is required
Previous experience with database in Quality Assurance, Completions and/or Commissioning environment
Minimum of 10 years combined experience in Construction, Quality Assurances, Completions and/or Commissioning
A discipline degree, technical certificate, or Journeyman status required
General understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures, site safety and permitting requirements as applied to the Completion and/or Commissioning scope of work
Previous experience on a large project would be an asset
