Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Regional Accountant will assist with the efficient and effective operation of the Financial and Statistical Systems of the Kelsey Trail Health Region.  The Accountant assists with the maintenance, reconciliation and analysis of the Region's revenues, expenditures, investments, accounting, statistical/utilization information and budgeting in accordance with Kelsey Trail Health Region and government policies.  
Required Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Analytical skills
Advanced problem solving skills
Accounting skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Detail-oriented
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Ability to work within time constraints to meet deadlines
