The Assistant Coordinator is aware of all the management and operations of the Family Support Program. Will act as the Program Coordinator when required.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of in-home services with a focus on families and the following areas: Parenting, Personal Wellness, Daily Living, Social and Community Resources.
Applicants will demonstrate the following requirements:
Case Management:
Take Referrals (prioritize/mandated)
Connect Referrals to Front Line Staff
Receiving contracts, signing off on contracts
Checking in with staff re: progress
File Audits
Support Front Line Staff:
Provide support and guidance to staff on cases
Provide Caseload Reviews
Ensure Weekly Reports are being sent in to Ministry of Social Services
Other duties:
Communicate openly with Coordinator regarding all aspects of the program/staffing
Assist with job interviews
Assist with Program Planning
Staff training
Strong written and communication skills
Sign off Timesheets and monthly reports (when required).
All applicants must have a valid Driver's License and roadworthy vehicle. Successful applicants will have a clear Police Record Check and Child Protection Check.
