Description

Working under the direction and supervision of the KidsFirst Coordinator, the KidsFirst Program Supoort Superviosor, in keeping with the policies, practices, and philosophies of Rainbow youth Centre, will provide supervision/mentorship to the Home Cisitors in the KidsFirst Program.

Responsibilities:
-Delivery of the KidsFirst Program
-Staff Supervision
-Home Visiting and delivery of curriculum
-Case Management
-Administration
-Networking

Qualifications:
-3 years combined education and experience in the human service field and/or relevant experience providing support services to families
-1 year experience working with a home visiting program or equivalent
-Preference for individuals who have completed the Kids First Curriculum training
-Staff Supervision experience minimum 6 months
-Ability to actively engage and mentor staff
-Outstanding documentation skills. Ability to accurately monitor and maintain data collection and documentation (written portion required as part of the interview)
-Overall understanding of teaching with a curriculum
-Proven ability to deliver curriculum to families
-Clear understaing of Attachment theory
-Knowledge of community resources that support healthy parenting
-Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate group learning activities
-Ability to oversee and support other in the delivery of service
-Ability to analyze, evaluate, and provide recommendations
-Ability to maintain professional boundaries
-Knowledge and experience in effective team work
-Proficient in the use of computer software- Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, computerized forms/databases
-Strong Organizational and administrative skills
-Effective verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to travel
-A valid driver's license

Hours of Work: 9:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Monday - Friday, 74 hours every two weeks, every other Friday off.
(occasional evenings hours required)
