Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for controlling costs and maintaining profitability.
Work together with Saskatoon Operations Manager on projects and manpower.
Schedules crews for the projects and all required equipment and materials needed to complete the tasks.
Conducts regular inspections to guarantee quality and jobs are per specifications.
Examines drawings and specifications for different work tasks and ensures current information is communicated to foremen.
Supports foremen in keeping a safe workplace through support and training.
Resolves/diffuses issues using open communication with employees and management.
Tracks project schedules and cost reports.
Ensures training and development of foremen and employees.
Encourages positive employee relations with all employees and management by treating all employees with dignity and respect.
Administers discipline as needed in a fair and consistent manner
Coordinates with engineers, client/owner, inspectors, etc.
