Facility: AMBULANCE - SHR
Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced (EMT-A) reports to the Director of Emergency Medical Services and when on site in a facility to the designated Supervisor/Charge Nurse.  EMT-As provide direct pre-hospital, emergency and patient care.  They assist with the operations of the facilities they serve within the Sunrise Health Region.  The only restriction that has been identified governing their participation in these departments is; No duties can restrict them from responding immediately to any ambulance calls.  EMT-As shall abide by the Sunrise Health Region and its Affiliates Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Procedures.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 4 drivers license
Clean Driver's Abstract
CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Intermediate Care Paramedic (ICP/EMT-A) level
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the ICP/EMT-A level
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

Expected Start Date: August 15, 2015
Expected Up To Date: December 22, 2015
FTE: 0.82

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, On Call
616.00 hours per 20 week rotation: 77 shifts of 8.00 hours
