Facility: MOOSE JAW UNION HOSPITAL
Job Description: Utilization of available beds, management of nursing staff and management of facility issues.  Responsible for after hours dispensing od drugs, responding to all codes, responding to the triggering of all alarms.  Must be aware of acuity of patients throughout the facility in order to be proactive in problem solving.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Critical Care experience an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to effectively communicate with medical staff, senior administration, other department heads, staff, clients and family members
Ability to adapt, prioritize, interpret and respond quickly to changing situations
Other Information

Knowledge of lean processes would be considered an asset

Will be required to be certified in transfer of functions, new therapies as established in all areas of nursing and other certifications such as ACLS, CPR, etc.
Expected Start Date: August 30, 2015
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
In a 4 week rotation: 11 shifts of 11.50 hours, 4 shifts of 4.00 hours, 1 shift of 7.50 hours
