Seasonal /Temp Technician Position Working in Chemistry Lab

Job Responsibilities:

Analyzing and handing of oil seed samples.

Description of work Performed:
Analyze oil seed samples using NIR instrument, report results and any problems to the Head Chemist.
Operate laboratory instrument, using computer to transfer and report data.
Other duties: Maintain log book, sort samples, and general lab maintenance activities.

Educational requirement:

Ideal candidate has completed secondary or has a post-secondary education. Experience in analytical lab would be an asset.

Other requirement:

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, good communication skill; detail oriented, analytical, perceptive and self-motivated. Computer competent, demonstrated ability to work in a computerized environment.

Term: 6 weeks, starting September 8, 2015
