The Capital Management Specialist will focus on meeting the strategic objectives related to asset quality & risk management. They will perform tasks & project work specifically related to managing the CU's balance sheet, budgeting & forecasting processes & interest rate, capital & liquidity risk. They are responsible for on-going development & implementation of modeling software and to provide backup support to the management & accounting of the CUs treasury function. They display initiative & are able to work with minimal supervision, have an aptitude for software programs & proven ability to utilize productivity tools.This is a permanent F/T time position, & candidate may work from either of Tisdale or Yorkton Branches. Travel will be required from time to time. The candidate will have post-secondary education majoring in Finance or Accounting & a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent combination. FI experience including an understanding of CU products & services is beneficial. Strong verbal & written communication & the ability to develop solid working relationships & be a strong team player is required. A commitment to continuous learning & development, including completion of or enrollment in a recognized professional accounting designation, CPA preferred.
