POSITION OVERVIEW


FBC is currently seeking someone who is a wizard at corporate tax and customer service to join us in our Saskatoon office.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Corporate Tax Support Technician will answer our Members basic tax and tax-related questions, collaborate with and support corporate processing in providing Member products and services, as well as assist our tax consultant with pre and post appointment Member support.


The Corporate Tax Support Technician role is a primary point of contact for our Members (customers) and provides exceptional customer service and responsiveness at all times.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage incoming calls and make outbound calls to Members
    Schedule Member appointments with field staff taking into account the territories and distance
    Answer tax, bookkeeping, CRA audit, payroll, and T4/T5 questions from Members
    Review and update financial statement and other tax related data;
    Validate and/or obtain missing information as required to complete Member records with accurate information in a timely manner
    Prepare and file confidential documents
    Review and prepare documents, reports and other correspondence for Members and CRA
    Provide support to other departments as required to ensure deadlines with respect to Members filing obligations are met
    Update client data in company database  
    Provide exemplary customer service to Members
    Other duties, relevant to the position, may be assigned as required
