The primary focus of the accounting clerk is to assist the Corporate Controller with the financial & human resource activities of the company.
Such assistance includes, but may not be limited to:
accounting & balancing daily cash receipts
maintaining & balancing inventory controls
assist in preparing & maintaining all payroll functions
maintaining the annual budget
assisting with accounts payable & accounts receivable functions
coordinate/manage/file all employee forms
coordinate/manage/file employee benefit plan
coordinate/manage staff housing
other miscellaneous administrative duties as required
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets is a requirement. Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience would be an asset.
Successful applicant must be bondable & capable of working in an unsupervised environment.
Typical working hours are 8 am 5 pm (40 hrs/week) with some weekend work required.
This a full time, year round position. Starting date flexible but must be before August 23, 2015.
Salary range $14-$16/hour commensurate with abilities, training & experience.
