Radisson Hotel Saskatoon is looking for a Sales Manager to manage the corporate, government & aboriginal market.
The Job:
- Solicit business in the corporate, government and aboriginal markets.
- Generate leads by contacting & servicing key target accounts within market segment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize leads and coordinate new projects.
- Secures business through prospecting, networking, presentations & sales calls.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate, process contracts & follow up to secure the business with both our client and hotels best interests in mind.
- Promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows.
- Conduct site visits for clients.
- Identify & analyze marketing/sales needs and develop effective short & long term strategies to meet the changing needs of the hotel.
- Analyze market research data to identify trends & opportunities to increase revenues & market share.
- Attend sales meetings; compile & analyze reports to meet team & individual goals.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- 1 2 years of experience sales, preferably in hospitality
- Drive for results and passion for providing superior customer service
- Excellent communication skills & ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, both internally and externally
- Adept in standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office, and hotel systems Delphi
- High school diploma required; certified post-secondary education in sales or the hospitality field is an asset.
