Description

Spadina Industries and our sister company, Sleepers Mattress Factory, are hiring full-time and part-time people to perform a variety of jobs related to our factory and retail store.  

We require physically fit staff who are able to handle mattresses of the size that are found in homes and hotels.   Operators will be cross-trained in several areas including:

- materials handling and setup
- mattress assembly
- fabrication of sub-assemblies
- deliveries and installation
- shipping and receiving

One to two years experience in several of the following areas:
- use of air-nailers and tackers  
- furniture assembly
- forklift experience with certification
- operation of delivery vehicles (clean driving record required)
- shipping and receiving
- quality and continuous improvement

Other requirements:
- current resident of Saskatoon area
- reliable, year-round transportation to Marquis Drive area of Saskatoon (near Costco)
- must be available to work a flexible schedule
- no Sundays or evening work required
