General Manager Weyburn Curling Club, Weyburn, SK

The current Weyburn Curling Club manager is retiring at the end of the 2015-16 curling season. WCC is seeking a new manager, whose duties will commence with the following (2016-17) season.  
Reporting to the Board of Directors and with the assistance of staff and contractors, the manager directs the organization and delivery of  WCC programs including curling leagues, facility management, rentals and ice management. The position is also responsible for the club's financial management, sponsor acquisition, interaction with regional, provincial and national curling associations and liaison with local, regional, provincial and federal government departments.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
    Business management and leadership experience in customer or member-focused organizations
    Experience with municipal and volunteer associations
    Success in achieving bottom line results
    Involvement and leadership in community activities or issues
Familiarity with the sport of curling would definitely be an asset.

This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with the knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate.
