Position Profile
Prepare estimates for various Commercial Construction Projects.
Responsibilities:
Attend site meetings
Review specifications and drawings
Prepare takeoffs and estimates
Build relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
Prepare and follow-up on quotations and tenders
Review contracts
Provide project co-ordination
Ensure safety policies are followed
Perform additional assignments as per supervisor direction
Qualifications
Estimating experience
Architectural Technology Diploma, Estimating Certificate, education in a related field OR Equivalent Work Experience
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
Enthusiasm for challenges and new initiatives
Ability to meet deadlines
Valid drivers license
Compensation: Above industry average.
Hours: Full time or part-time position
