Description

Olysky LP is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical that will be responsible for ensuring that all farm and mill electrical systems and components throughout the company are in sound operating condition, regulatory codes are maintained and the budget is adhered to.  
Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision to staff including training, mentoring, delegation of work and guidance to all employees with the intent of creating a high performance team (inspired, goal-focused, accountable)
Provide required administrative duties including work schedules, timesheets, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.
Develop an electrical preventative maintenance program
Develop a communication process regarding maintenance scheduling
Develop budgets as required
Repair and or replacement of any barn or mill electrical operating systems and/or components
Provide training to production staff to ensure they are trained on electrical maintenance repairs and troubleshooting issues
Recommending upgrading of any barn/mill systems and/or components
Work with other Departments on the purchase of replacement parts and maintain inventory
Interact with Electrical Contractors working in our facilities and ensure that all work is high quality and meets codes  biosecurity, permits, codes, etc.
Ensure that all work is done in a safe manner and biosecurity & animal welfare protocols are followed
Provide timely emergency response to all units and on call assistance to all units as required as well as training on emergency response
Conduct regular Team and Safety meetings
Other related duties
Requirements:
Experience working with barn systems, preventative maintenance programs and equipment required
Effective oral, written communication skills and ability to work independently
A valid drivers license for the province of Saskatchewan
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
