Description

Ehrlo Housing provides affordable housing at four locations in Regina:  Washington Park Place (12 units); Lakeshore Village (44 units); McEwen Manor (40 units); one  five bedroom single family dwelling.  The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and equipment in Ehrlo Housing.  The Maintenance Technician will trouble shoot problems and possible solutions. For projects outside of his/her expertise, the Maintenance Technician will monitor those contracted services.

Job duties:
- Develops weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
- Implements daily routines to ensure facilities are monitored properly.
- Trouble shooting facility, equipment, and maintenance related problems on site.
- Responsible for accurate, timely reports of the activities and progress of repairs and projects being completed.
- Submits budgets for approval.
- Works with staff and contractors to ensure proper upkeep of facilities and grounds.  

Education:
- Specialized training in various certifications or applications relating to basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds keeping
- WHMIS Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certification

Experience:
- Minimum of three to five years of related work experience or journeymens training.  
- Staff must hold a class 5 novice 2 or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.
