Description

DaySpring Early Learning Centre/Embassy Church is looking for a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator for permanent, full/part time
employment.
Applicants must have an Early Childhood
Education Certificate or Level 1.
Candidates must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR Training, TB test, and a criminal record check at their own expense.
Other Qualifications:
Must be punctual, reliable, and have good communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a group
setting
Ability to read and write reports. Required to
multi-task.
Must be energetic, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children.
The Early Childhood Educator will be involved in all aspects of planning and implementing an early childhood program that supports our centre's philosophy. This includes:
Planning developmentally appropriate and
stimulating activities in a play-based
environment.
Providing child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys.
Responding to children's needs including:
diapering/toileting, feeding, need for sleep,
play, and learning.
Work closely with the staff as part of a
care giving team.
Some other duties include:
Assisting in maintaining records of children.
Assisting in housekeeping duties.
Maintaining day care supplies and equipment.
