Description

Duties and responsibilities:
The Client Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assisting in implementing the vocational plan for individuals attending the Training Centre, ensuring the vocational plan for each client is followed, and providing guidance and/or assistance in problem solving for issues that may arise for the clients.  Duties include:
-    Developing strengths-based individual training plans with each client according to the identified areas to develop
-    Developing strategies and recommendations to help clients achieve their goals
-    Coordinating and facilititating the provision of follow-up support to the clients and arranging necessary review meetings
-    Acting as a liaison between other agencies, families, and caregivers as required
-    Providing guidance and support to clients in vocational matters
-    Collecting and maintaining statistical information on a regular basis
-    Providing direction and supervision to the mentors on implementing training plans and follow-up support

Qualifications:
Education:
-    Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education or other related human services or rehabilitation fields
-    Knowledge of the issues faced by persons with disabilities is considered an asset
Experience:
-    Three to five years experience working in a related field
Skills:
-    Ability to problem solve quickly
-    Effective interpersonal, communication, organization, problem-solving and computer skills
-    Knowledge of referral agencies and resources within the Saskatoon community
-    Ability to express and formulate ideas and information in a clear and concise manner in both verbal and written form
-    Excellent conflict resolution skills
-    Use of a personal vehicle
