We are dedicated to offering quality preschool & daycare programs based on the Play & Exploration Program Guide. We are looking for a passionate early childhood educator to join our care centre.
Responsibilities
Plan & implement age activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual & social needs of the children in the program
Ensure safety of children at all times
Provide nutritious snacks & lunches
Ensure equipment & facilities are clean & safe at all times
Plan & provide culturally appropriate activities including songs, games, storytelling
Provide a safe environment
Be familiar with emergency procedures
Communicate in a manner that children are able to understand
Observe & make note of children's behaviour progress
Keep parents informed of program expectations & activities & their child's progress
Develop, maintain current, accurate & confidential client files
Promote literacy & early education
Sprout, bud & bloom the principles of Play & Exploration Program Guide
Ensure that every activity follows the Centre's policies & procedures
Qualifications and requirements:
College diploma in Early Childhood Education or related fields
A minimum of 2 years of relevent experience in the Education Industry
SK Early Childhood Education Certificate (Level 1, 2 or 3)
First Aid Certificate
Clear criminal record
TB test result
The hourly rate (40 hours per week) shall be Level 1 - $12.12; Level 2 - $13.32, Level 3 - $15.44. Wage might be changed depending on experience.
