Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Platform Engineer to join our clients industry leading team. Located in the north end of Saskatoon, SK, our client is an industry leader in specialty vehicle manufacturing.

Responsibilities of the Senior Vehicle Platform Engineer:
- Vehicle design process (Mechanical)
- Research and development and Sales Support
- Continuous Improvement
- Project Management
- Team Supervision


Required Education and Experience for Senior Vehicle Platform Engineer:
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
- 8-10 years experience in complex mechanical design including sheet metal forming, fabrication, welding and assembly
- Professional Engineer Designation (or eligibility to register with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan)
- Automotive and/or specialty design vehicles design experience would be considered an asset
- Industrial design experience would be considered an asset
- Exposure to the concepts of design for manufacturing, design for assembly, and design for maintenance would be an asset
Required Technical Skills and Competencies:
- An advanced user of Autodesk Inventor, other 3D CAD, or other AutoCAD software
