Description

The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority is seeking a motivated, energetic Administrative Coordinator to fill a one-year term in its Consumer Protection Division. The successful applicant will be proactive, highly organized and attentive to detail, and will play an essential role in the day-to-day functioning of the Consumer Protection Division.


The Consumer Protection Division promotes marketplace fairness through awareness, education and the enforcement of Consumer Protection legislation.


The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the Director and Deputy Director of the Consumer Protection Division, providing senior administrative support involving:

the supervision of other support staff;

overseeing administrative activities for the Division including human resource administration, revenue cash controls, database processes, records management, briefing notes, and attendance records administration;

managing invoice processes, division organizational charts, telephone lists and directory lists;

compiling and maintaining statistical information for the preparation of monthly and annual reports;

managing highly confidential licensing documents;

communicating with stakeholders;

assisting in the development and management of budget and expenditure forecasts;

and other administrative projects as necessary.
