Description

The Office Administrator/Assistant will oversee the day to day operations of the office of Aboriginal Family Services and will be supervised by the Program Manager on a daily basis with over all responsibility to the Director.  This position is responsible for maintaining office procedures; provide all receptionist and clerical duties.

Duties and Responsibilities;

Provide office support services to clients and staff
Perform clerical duties as assigned by Director and Program Manager
Perform all receptionist duties
Perform other duties as assigned by Director

Qualifications;

Grade 12
3 years experience
Office Education Certificate
Prioritize work effectively under pressure
Excellent Telephone, receptionist and email manner /etiquette
Attention to detail

Require Knowledge Skills & Abilities;

Must have knowledge, understanding and sensitivity to Aboriginal cultures
Excellent computer skills in Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other databases
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Work independently and as a team player
Knowledge of computer networks and update website
Make travel arrangements, accommodations, airfare for employees
Strong communications and organizational skills
