Description

As product owner of the structured finance activities of Concentra, the primary purpose of this position is to lead Concentra and its clients through complex transactions used to manage balance sheet, capital and liquidity needs through access to solutions such as securitization and other structured finance products. The net result is enhanced profitability and funding for credit unions and Concentra.

Key Outcomes:
Champion Concentras structured finance issuances, primarily mortgage backed securities (MBS), while maintaining expert knowledge of asset funding employed by originators and debt capital markets
Develop and recommend hedging strategies
Manage client and third-party solutions, initiatives and proposals related to structured finance and contribute to and/or lead special projects
Responsible for managing a team of individuals within the structured finance business line which includes the formulation of direction and strategy and overseeing of monthly and annual reporting requirements

Qualifications:
University degree in finance, business or a related field.
Achievement of (or demonstrated commitment towards the completion of) a professional designation such as a CFA, CIM, CBV or CPA.
5-7 years of experience in retail credit, residential mortgage, portfolio management and/or securities industry.
