Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities
-    Schedule appointments for patients
-    Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, taking dictation and completing insurance forms
-    Greet and log in patients arriving at the clinic
-    Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests and/or admission
-    Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their  vital signs, weight, and height
-    Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician
-    Record patients? medical history, vital statistics and information such as test results in medical records
-    Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instructions and materials or performing such tasks as giving injections
-    Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean
-    Inventory and order medical, lab, and office supplies and equipment
Requirements
-    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-    Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records systems, preferably Accuro
-    Team player with strong organizational skills in addition to time management
-    Excellent work attendance, punctuality and reliability
-    Fluent in English (the ability to speak other languages is beneficial)
-    Completed a high school diploma and have at least 3 years recent and related experience in a specialist?s office (i.e. in a hospital, clinic setting) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
