Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands all operational aspects of Tank farm.
Perform tank farm isolation functions in emergencies. Provide initial confirmation, communications and assessment of incidents to management and the Control Center.                              
Has a high regard for Safety and Environmental protection.
Includes awareness of self and others.
Measurement, testing and sampling of Oil and Refined Products. Routine measurement checks of equipment and instruments on receipt and delivery meter manifolds. Record keeping and documentation responsibilities.                                
Routine checks of instrumentation buildings, oil levels and temperatures of all units, pumps and control valves in the tank farm.
Operates manifold valves and other valves outside of the Control Room for the routing of oil streams.
Assists the Edmonton Control Center operator (ECC), Area Supervisor and Maintenance department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Grade 12 Graduate.
Supplemented by three months of on the job training.
