DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organizations marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Directs all of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Organization.
Key responsibilities include:
-A full commitment to understanding of Dutch Growers core values, core focus, policies and practices, and engaging customers and staff in the meaning of the business.
-Develop, maintaining and executing a 12 month marketing plan to include: Seasonal, Holiday, and special event planning and coordination, while working with a given budget
-Assemble production plan and assign budgets to different mediums outlined in marketing plan
-maintaining and updating social media and web presence to maintain top of mind presence
-Implementing weekly in store features and promotions and to make sure that they are clear communicated to staff and creatively communicated to customers.
-Creative ability in producing print, articles, and other media.
-Meeting with departmental managers/ buyer on a regular basis in order to collaborate in ensuring marketing content is relevant to current products available.
-ability managing multiple projects over multiple departments at one time.
-work with teams to ensure that Dutch Growers Brand is forefront and maintained constantly across all areas of the company.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Post-secondary experience required, presentation of portfolio of works, 2-5 years experience or related experience.
