The City of Swift Current is inviting applications for Seasonal Labourers at the Credit Union I-plex and Fairview Arenas in the Community Services Division.  The position requires you to work weekend and holiday work, and varied shifts of 8, 10 and 12-hours, to meet operational requirements.

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for janitorial related duties, care and maintenance of buildings, equipment, furnishings and surrounding grounds at the Credit Union I-plex and Fairview Arenas.  

Basic Requirements:
. Completion of Grade Twelve (12);
. Ability to operate maintenance equipment with due care and attention;
. Ability to use simple hand tools and basic power equipment required for building and grounds maintenance;
. Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Motor Vehicle Operators License;
. R.C.M.P. security clearance/Criminal Record check and a Vulnerable Sector Check;
. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and possess initiative with respect to duties and responsibilities; and
. Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the general public in person or over the phone.

The salary for this position is $16.75 per hour in accordance with the City of Swift Current / CUPE Local 183 Collective Agreement.
