Excellent career opportunity for Apprentice Glazier to work on commercial construction sites. Current positions in Regina and work to follow in Edmonton and Calgary, AB. Job duties include assisting journey person in various aspects such as: fabrication, installing unitized curtain walls, repairing broken panes on job sites. Apprentices will be provided hands on training.
Position involves a considerable amount of physical work. Routinely need to climb ladders, work from scaffolds, use self-propelled elevated work platforms, as well as load and drive trucks. Interacts with co-workers, clients, tradespeople, and other professionals, requiring good interpersonal and communication skills.
Preference will be given to those interested in becoming journey-persons. Apprenticeship training can be gained while working with this employer. Must hold current certification in SCOT, WHMIS, and Fall Protection or be willing to take this training prior to hire. Valid driver's license an asset. Willingness to travel to out-of-town work is required.
