Primary Responsibilities

- Oversee day to day operations of corporate accounting function including:
-Reviewing journal entries completed by accounting staff
- Preparing Month-End and Year-End processes
- Managing Budget and P&L to meet financial targets
- Preparing and analyzing monthly management reports
- Build processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of corporate accounting system
- Lead and coordinate accounting personnel
- Communicate with Leadership Team (Operations and Sales) to ensure management needs and expectations are met
- Develop key performance indicators for area that assist team in achieving core objectives
- Complete regular financial reporting to key stakeholders and investors
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place and functioning as intended
- Complete all government reporting and tax filing requirements are met
-Manage corporate reorganization as liaison with tax accountant and lawyers
- Complete other special Projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA Designate with 4+ years accounting experience past designation
- Experience reviewing journal entries and P&L (including retrospectively)
- Effective management experience and excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of personnel in the organization as well as with third party vendors
- Self-starter willing to accept responsibility and ownership for their function within the company
