We are a 10 bed Personal Care Home in Speers, Saskatchewan, which is located about 35 miles east of North Battleford, Sask.

We primarily offer accommodation, meals, supervision, and all aspects of personal care to seniors, and/or mentally and/or physically disabled individuals.

The duties would include, but not limited to, all aspects of personal care to elderly or mentally or physically disabled residents, such as shaving, bathing, mobility, dressing, etc.  as well as housekeeping duties, such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, cooking, etc.

Experience with caring for the elderly is an asset.  Applicant should have a good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written.  On the job training is provided.  Shift work involved: days, evenings, nights, week-ends, and stat holidays.

Requirements:  Current Criminal Record Check, First Aid, Safe Food Handlers, Personal Care Worker Course, and medication module course (which can be obtained online)

Looking for motivated individuals that are interested in long term employment.  Candidate should be self motivated, possess good organizational skills, and have the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Work conditions:  The job involves bending, lifting, kneeling, standing, walking.  Staff must be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

Starting wage:  $11.30/hour
Medical/Dental/Vision benefits available after 3 month of employment.
