The Co-operators is looking for a temporary Underwriting Assistant II in our Underwriting department in Regina, SK. This is approximately a 6 month term position.

The Underwriting Assistant provides support to Underwriters in their assessment of risk, pricing and changes to new and existing business. The role processes, verifies and updates important information relating to new business, new sales, and retention of existing business. The main duties of this role will be inputting data into the Underwriting pricing system, formatting and importing data, and filing.

Your Qualifications

Knowledge of Group Benefits insurance would be an asset

Completion of postsecondary education with 1-2 years of related work experience

Working towards CEBS or LOMA designation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
