When you join Kare 4 Kids at the ORR Center team you will:
- Ensure a safe, positive environment for all children under your care
- Follow programs and assist in completion of crafts, physical activities & educational activities
- Be an enthusiastic team member: sharing ideas to help the program operate at its very best
- Liaison and foster relationships with: parents/families/Supervisor/other K4K team members
- Have a sense of satisfaction at the end of the day!
Qualifications for joining our team include (but are not limited to):
- minimum ECE level 1 required or currently enrolled
- Previous experience with children; some formal childcare education preferable
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a high energy environment: the ability to manage multiple situations effectively is a must, particularly behaviour and room management
- Have the ability to follow instructions and directions: follow company policy and procedure
- Must be comfortable working indoors and out
- A successfully completed Criminal Record Check
- First Aid Certificate (with child and infant CPR)

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
Additional Skills
- Maintain day care supplies and equipment
- Assist in housekeeping duties
- Assist in maintaining records of children
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
