Description

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking two (2) permanent full-time Inspectors, one reporting out of the Regina Head office and one reporting out of the Saskatoon office. Reporting to the Manager, Investigations and Security, or designate, Inspectors attend licensed establishments and permitted functions to promote and ensure compliance with provincial requirements respecting the sale, distribution, and consumption of beverage alcohol. This will be accomplished using a variety of strategies, including as appropriate, education, inspections and investigations. In reviewing operations, Inspectors may take statements from complainants and or witnesses as well as prepare reports to record compliance history to support the sanction process. Inspectors provide advice to permittees, other enforcement agencies as well as the general public. They are required to serve legal documents, testify in court or before the Liquor and Gaming Commission if necessary. In addition the Inspectors perform regulatory duties related to Texas Holdem poker tournaments and Video Lottery Terminals.
