The Banquet Server provides prompt and courteous food and beverage service to guests during banquet functions while ensuring guests satisfaction. Other duties would include,preparing banquet rooms according to the needs indicated on the banquet event order, responding quickly to guests needs & clearing tables after service.
Preference will be given to applicants with hospitality-related experience, current Food Safe Certificate and Serve it Right Saskatchewan (SIRS).
Hours of work will be subject to business volumes with weekend work being a requirement.

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
- Describe and advise on wine selection
Transportation/Travel Information
- Own transportation
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Replace linen
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
