THIS IS AN ENVIRONMENT TECHNOLOGIST POSITION.

OVERVIEW:
Develops, coordinates, interprets, implements and trains employees on SaskTels environmental programs. Develops and maintains due diligence processes to enable compliance with all environmental regulations, improve environmental performance and promote continual improvement. Provides leadership support to SaskTel Holdco operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Degree in Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Biology or Environmental Science OR Technical Diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology, Ecology, Biology or Environmental Science with 2 years current experience in an environmental field.
2. Eligible to enter into a Designated Professional Association (P.Eng, A.Sc.T., EP, P.Ag., etc.) in Saskatchewan.
3. Working knowledge of environmental legislation.
4. Working knowledge of the legal regulations regarding construction, buildings, chemicals, vehicles, heavy equipment, excavations, hazardous substances and WHMIS.
5. Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.
6. Working knowledge of environmental principles, auditing, systems, practices and procedures related to the telecommunications industry.
