JOB SUMMARY
The role of the maintenance Planner is to support the activity of the Maintenance Team. Working with information of all types in the MP2 system is fundamental to the position. The Planner also prepares plans for all Preventive, Predictive, Condition-Based, and Project/Backlog Maintenance work; works with the Inventory and Procurement Coordinator to insure parts are available and ready; insures resources are available; and coordinates execution of the plan in conjunction with the Production schedule in a timely manner. In this, the Maintenance Planner supports the maintenance group and provides expert guidance, acting as a liaison with management if required.
