Reporting to the Manager of Surveillance, the Surveillance Officer is responsible for managing the operations of the surveillance office as it pertains to the preservation and safeguarding of staff, guests and assets at Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw. As the incumbent you are responsible for ensuring the surveillance department is in compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations in place.
You will supervise and mentor a team of Surveillance Monitors and ensure their training is kept up to date by identifying training needs and ensuring the training is completed. Mentorship also includes providing guidance in the daily operations of the Surveillance Monitors work.
Other responsibilities include managing the surveillance systems by overseeing access to information collected on the systems and communicating that to appropriate stakeholders within the corporation. You will have investigatory skills in order to initiate and manage investigations of incidences within the associated policies and procedures. This responsibility extends to establishing and maintaining network relationships with appropriate stakeholder including the law and enforcement agencies while upholding the integrity of the corporation.
