NLSD #113 invites applications for the position of a temporary DISTANCE EDUCATION HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER at Masinahikana Online School, La Ronge, SK.
Masinahikana Online School is located in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. This is a temporary, full time teaching position, based out of the La Ronge Central Office, to commence as soon as possible until June 30, 2016. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification, have experience and/or interest in distance education and have a strong background using web 2.0 tools, web based communication tools and resources. Saskatchewan accreditation for Biology 30 and/or Chemistry 30 is preferred.
This is an opportunity to work with an experienced team of supportive, creative and dynamic online educators. The distance learning service, serves all Northern Saskatchewan communities and includes both adult and school age learners.
Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes housing subsidy and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.
