Availability Requirements:  All Availability (including days, evenings, nights and weekends).

Responsibilities of the position:
Customer service
Train and motivate staff
Schedule staff appropriately to meet the business needs
Delegate and prioritize workload for staff
Maintain up to date information about market trends and competitor activities
Receiving, handling and storing of product to achieve optimal results
Ensure proper product rotation as required
Ensure price integrity
Any other duties that may be required to ensure store standards are met at all times

Qualifications/Experience:
Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for the no frills concept as a discount food store focusing on low price image
Demonstrated understanding of a Produce Manager's impact on store
Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated team player
Demonstrated Customer focus
Ability to manage people
Ability to work with minimal functional direction
Solid understanding and previous experience with the Produce area, operations and products.
Demonstrated accountability for entire store in the absence of a manager:
- key carrying / alarm responsibilities
- loss prevention
- health & safety

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.  There is also potential to earn a yearly incentive bonus if key metrics are met.
